// What we protect against

Small businesses are targets too.

Most data loss isn’t dramatic. It’s a dead drive, a deleted folder or one convincing email. We plan for all of it.

Ransomware

Layered protection and offline backups so you can restore instead of paying.

Hardware failure

Every drive fails eventually. Backups mean it’s an inconvenience, not a disaster.

Phishing & scams

Email filtering and sign-in protection that stop most attacks before they start.

Human error

Accidentally deleted files and overwritten documents, restored quickly.

Backup & security FAQ

What is the 3-2-1 backup rule?

Keep three copies of your data, on two different types of storage, with one copy offsite. It’s a simple standard that protects you from almost any single failure.

We already back up to an external drive. Isn’t that enough?

It’s a good start, but a single drive in the same building can fail, get stolen or be encrypted by ransomware along with everything else. An offsite copy closes that gap.

How do I know my backups work?

We can run test restores on request or on a set schedule, so you’re not finding out for the first time during an emergency.

Are we too small to be a target?

Unfortunately not. Many attacks are automated and aim at whoever is easiest to get into, regardless of size.

Do you only protect businesses in Mifflin County?

No. Local businesses can get on-site setup, but backup monitoring and security management are handled remotely, so we can protect businesses anywhere.
